Jun 11, 2021 · So your test case seems to be this - you've queue hundreds of lvm commands and occasionally it happens the one 'scanning command' is reading ring-buffer while several other sequentially locked commands manage to overwrite whole ringbuffer which is ~1MiB by default and such metadata for 500LV takes around 200KiB - so there are just 5 commands to reach ring around - so depending on kernel ...
